The HEYLOVE CLIFF Tint Base provides flawless, even coverage from the very first coat thanks to its highly pigmented, flexible formula. The creamy shade delivers excellent opacity and effectively camouflages the free edge for a clean, natural finish.

How to Use:

1. Thoroughly dehydrate the nail plate using phBond Dehydrator.
2. Apply Ultrabond Acid-Free Primer to the free edge and allow it to air dry completely.
3. Apply a thin layer of Rubber Base as a foundation and cure for 30 seconds.
4. Apply one or two coats of Tint Base. Cure in a UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds.
5. Finish with a top coat.

Important

To prevent accidental curing of the product during application, product testing, or content creation, keep opened bottles and brushes away from daylight, especially direct sunlight. Even on cloudy days, UV radiation can be strong enough to initiate polymerization.

When creating swatches, position the working side of the UV lamp away from the technician. If the lamp is facing you, the material may begin curing on the brush or around the neck of an opened bottle.

How to Prevent Air Bubbles

Air bubbles can form in any liquid. They are not caused by the formula or ingredients but by the viscosity of the material—it is simply a law of physics.

For example, bubbles rise and disappear quickly in water. In thicker materials, such as honey or builder gel, bubbles remain suspended much longer.

The same principle applies to tint bases. If the brush is inserted into the bottle too quickly or aggressively, it acts like a blender, mixing air into the product and creating bubbles. This is especially common with new, full bottles.

Always use slow, gentle brush movements, particularly when working with a newly opened bottle.

Why We Chose a Medium Viscosity

During the development of our Tint Base, we intentionally selected a medium-viscosity formula because it offers several important advantages:

• The product stays exactly where it is applied without running or flooding the cuticles.
• Crisp, clean application is achieved with minimal effort.
• The technician has sufficient time to build the nail architecture and inspect the surface under reflected light.
• A second coat is generally unnecessary to perfect the structure or camouflage the free edge.

Our manufacturing process utilizes specialized equipment that minimizes bubble formation throughout every production stage—from pigment mixing to bottle filling.

We also ask our retail partners not to open bottles for demonstrations. Consultants who are not nail technicians may unintentionally introduce air bubbles through improper brush handling. Additionally, excess product around the bottle neck leaves the packaging looking untidy.

How to Remove Air Bubbles

If bubbles appear in the product:

1. Unscrew the bottle cap, but do not remove the brush.
2. Leave the bottle in a warm (not hot) place overnight.
3. Alternatively, place the bottle inside a sealed plastic bag and immerse it in warm water up to the bottle neck.

As the material warms, its molecules move faster, allowing trapped air to naturally rise to the surface since air is lighter than the product.
