PEONY Tint Base

Thanks to its high pigmentation and elasticity, PEONY Tint Base provides perfectly even coverage after the very first coat. It densely camouflages the free edge and nail contours.

Application method:

1. Thoroughly degrease the nail plate using the pH Bond dehydrator.
2. Apply the Ultrabond acid-free primer to the tip of the nail and wait until the liquid has completely dried.
3. Apply a layer of clear Rubber Base as a base coat and cure for 30 seconds.
4. Apply one or two coats of Tint Base. Cure in a UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds.
5. Apply the top coat as the final layer.

Warning! To avoid unwanted polymerization of the material during work, testing, or content creation, keep the opened bottle or brush as far away from daylight as possible (especially direct sunlight). Please also note that even in cloudy weather, clouds allow a large amount of ultraviolet radiation to pass through, which is sufficient for the material to begin polymerizing. When painting tips, we recommend keeping the working side of the operating UV lamp facing away from the technician. If the lamp is directed toward the technician, unwanted polymerization of the material may occur on the brushes and around the necks of opened bottles.

How to prevent bubbles in the material?

Bubbles may appear in any liquid. This does not depend on the formula or ingredients. It depends on the density (viscosity). It is simply the law of physics.

For example, in water, bubbles remain only briefly and disappear on their own. In thicker liquids (such as honey or thick builder gel), bubbles form more easily and remain much longer than they do in water.

The same applies to the base. If the brush is handled carelessly by dipping it sharply into the bottle, it unintentionally acts like a blender, mixing the material with air and creating bubbles. This especially applies to products packaged in bottles with brushes.

Therefore, use gentle, careful brush movements, especially when the bottle is new and full.

When developing our Tint Base, we had a choice of viscosity. We deliberately selected a medium consistency because it provides the following advantages:

• the material does not run or flood;
• clean contours are achieved without extra effort;
• the technician can calmly build the nail architecture and has enough time to check the reflection;
• there is no need to apply a second coat to refine the architecture or camouflage the free edge.

At our production facility, we use equipment that prevents bubbles from forming throughout every stage of production—from pigment mixing to filling the bottles.

We also inform our partners that we do not recommend store consultants opening bottles to demonstrate the material to customers. A consultant who is not a nail technician may unknowingly create bubbles with the brush. In addition, the bottle necks become untidy when they are contaminated with material up to the top.

If bubbles have already formed in the material, how can they be removed?

Unscrew the bottle cap, but do not remove the brush.

Leave the bottle in a warm (not hot) place overnight.

Alternatively, place the bottle in a polyethylene bag and immerse it in warm water up to the bottle shoulders.

According to the laws of physics, molecules move faster in a warm environment, which accelerates the process.

The air will rise to the surface because it is lighter than the liquid.
