Luna Black base (13ml)

Black Base is a black base coat designed for nail coating and leveling.

Features:

• Low-acid formula (pH 5–6).
• Elastic and flexible.
• High coverage of the natural nail due to intense pigmentation.
• Does not run and self-levels very quickly.
• Requires a Rubber Base underneath.
• Recommended curing lamp power: 48W (original lamp only).
• For proper leveling, the thickness at the free edge should be 1–1.5 mm.

Application Method:

1. Remove the previous coating.
2. Do not file the nail shape. Alternatively, leave approximately 2 mm of extra length and file it after the leveling process.
3. Gently buff the nail surface with a 220-grit file, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform the manicure.
5. If using cuticle removers, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water afterward.
6. Degrease the nail in two steps using four lint-free wipes (one wipe per five fingers):
• First pass: clean the entire nail surface.
• Second pass: wrap a wipe around an orangewood stick and thoroughly clean the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Apply dehydrator (optional).
8. Apply primer if desired. If your base coat already has sufficient acidity, primer is not required.
9. Apply a thin layer of Lunamoon Rubber Base. It is recommended to use a flat gel brush with rubbing motions, making sure to cover the sidewalls completely. Cure for 30 seconds.
10. Remove the inhibition (sticky) layer.
11. Apply Black Base for leveling. Cure for 120 seconds.
12. File the nail shape after leveling to create proper thickness at the free edge for additional strength.
13. Remove the sticky layer after filing.
14. Apply the top coat and cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe the surface after curing, as this may reduce the shine.
